Susie Paul presented her paper, entitled “Between Loyalty and Expertise: Social Therapy, Physician Preferences, and Medical Decision-making in a Bengali-American community” at the annual meeting of the Easter Sociological Society in New York City on February 27, 2015. The paper comes out of Susie’s research conducted with the support of Allison Davis Research Fellowship, a program designed for students from underrepresented groups who are contemplating academic careers.
