Plus Club Film Screening: "Taare Zameen Par" on 11/11 @ 3:30pm

The Plus Club and members of the South Asian Student Association are hosting a screening of the Bollywood education accessibility film “Taare Zameen Par” at 3:30PM on Saturday, November 11th in Bronfman Auditorium (with catering from Spice Root following the screening).
For context, the film “Taare Zameen Par” touches upon dis/ability, social and academic adjustment to an elite institution, the importance of the arts, and cultural heritage from the perspective of an Indian child with dyslexia who attends boarding school.
This screening will be co-sponsored by the Anthropology & Sociology Department, Political Science Department, Psychology Department, Asian American Studies Program, and Global Studies Program in collaboration with members of the Plus Club and South Asian Student Association. We welcome students, faculty, and staff of all personal and academic backgrounds to join us for a touching film and community-building dinner.
